Even If The Sun Don’t Rise

Verse 1
When I get called out, I look down at the ground, shuffle my feet, and try to hide behind the crowd
But when it’s on my terms, I will jump into the ring, grab the bull by the horns, and you better believe I will stand out.
I won’t back down. I’m not afraid. I’m terrified. I can’t complain. I’m memorizing the answers to go down in fame.

Chorus
And every day I will try, I’ll stand and fight. No matter if the sun don’t rise.
And every day, I will find a way, even if the night outlasts the light.

Verse 2
I’ll hit it big, don’t you see you’ll soon be looking up to me. But until then, hold me please.
I’m just a boy, but the amount of shhh I’ve been through adds up to a full life that most men would take a knee to.
But not me, I got a few things I got to do first, like shake off the curse, and chart a new path through

Chorus
And every day I will try, I’ll stand and fight. No matter if the don’t doesn’t rise.
And every day, I will find a way, even if the night outlasts the light.

Bridge
I’m bruised, but I’m breathing.
I’m cracked, but I’m healing.
I’m scared, but I’m believing —
I’m still dreaming.
That’s enough to carry me.

Chorus
And every day I will try, I’ll stand and fight. No matter if the don’t doesn’t rise.
And every day, I will find a way, even if the night outlasts the light.
