I wanted to thank everyone for all of their prayers and support over the last four years. As we mentioned in the last email, we have made the decision to find a place to settle for a while as we move into the high school years with Evelyn and Benjamin. After much prayer and conversation, we decided to move to Macon, Georgia. This allowed us to move into an area with more affordable living, as well as being only five hours away from Leah’s parents and brothers. This also gives Leah’s grandmother a comfortable stopping point when she travels back and forth between Indiana and Florida.
The Lord blessed us in providing a job for Ian at Wesley Glenn Ministries. Wesley Glenn works with people with disabilities in both a day service, as well as group homes. Ian was able to fly out a month ahead of Leah and the kids to become the new Residential Director of the group homes. It is so nice that Ian is still able to have work in serving a vulnerable population.
Leah is back to homeschooling the kids full-time. She hopes to find ways to serve, and outreach opportunities after everyone gets settled.
All of the kids have taken the move very well. They have already made friends and love being closer to family again.
